Nancy E. Lundebjerg, MPA
Chief Executive Officer
Nancy E. Lundebjerg, MPA, is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the American Geriatrics Society (AGS). She also leads the Association of Directors of Geriatric Academic Programs (ADGAP) and the AGS Health in Aging Foundation. In these roles, Lundebjerg positions geriatrics as a leader for healthcare professionals, policy makers, and the public by implementing and advocating for programs in older adult care, research, professional and public education, and public policy. Lundebjerg joined the AGS in 1998, and served the Society in several capacities, including as Chief Operating Officer before assuming her responsibilities as CEO. Prior to joining AGS, she was administrator of the Center for the Study of Society and Medicine at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Lundebjerg earned her Bachelor of Arts from Connecticut College and holds a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Hartford, where she was a Woodruff Scholar.
